A warm welcome to the official registry for the Republic of Cameroon, my name is Mr Moustapha Saya Kaigama, president of NETCOM.cm Sarl.

On 15th of October 2008 NETCOM launched successfully a state of the art registry for .com.cm, .co.cm and .net.cm. The success of the launch was made possible with the help of our partners and all the registrars who supported it, for this I would like to thank you very much.

NETCOM is proud to announce today, that exactly 7 months after the opening of the second level domain registry, the .cm toplevel registry will start its operation. We know that many companies and domainers alike have waited many years for this opportunity to arise.

Time Schedule for Sunrise / Landrush / Open Registration

Sunrise

NETCOM will start the sunrise period on 15th June 2009, 10:00 am GMT. The sunrise period will end 14th July 2009, 11:59:59 pm GMT. Applicants for the sunrise period must hold a valid & issued trademark at the time of application. Minimum registration during sunrise period is 2 years.

Landrush

The sunrise period will be followed by a landrush period starting on 15th July 2009, 0:00 am and ending on 31st July 2009, 11:59:59 pm. There are no special requirements for the landrush period. In case there is more than one application per domain, the domain will go into an auction system. The auctions will be held shortly after the end of the landrush period. Further details about the auction system will be available shortly on our website. Minimum registration during landrush period is 2 years.

Open Registration

On 1st August 2009, 0:00 am the open registration starts. At this point .cm domains can be registered on a first come first served basis with a minimum registration period of one year.
